to my path-house. If you wish to go on any of these roads, let me
give you some directions.
You will find a small fortress called the Mercenary Knights
Lair about 10 miles North on Merk road. I heard a few years back
from a deserter of that fortress that they trained hard learning how to
use the ancient weapons: swords and such. He also mumbled something
about them studying the "Final Fantasy" story.
Following Yorn road south a few miles you should see a small temple called
the Bloody Glass Shrine. You should be particularly
careful here, for legend has it that the priests in that innocent-looking
chapel worship demons and have a tendency to rant about their knowledge
of the "Vampire".
A few miles East on Layne's Road is The Gallery, a sort of country house
where the nobles go to enjoy a collection of music and paintings and such.
I hear that they have quite a collection of songs there.
Well since you come from the west, then I guess you already saw the bar
called Nostalgia. You didn't enter it, you say? Oh, well let me explain
what it is more precisely. It is a tavern in which people go to talk
to each other about the ancient hobby called "video games". I personally
have no idea what that means, but I hear they have something to do with
two specific game series, one called Castlevania and the other was the
Final Fantasy series.
